Please report to 721 S. 28th Street, San Diego, 92113, to the high school building. Park in the 28th Street parking lot. Please IM me when you arrive so I can open the gate. The first group of students will be coming out at 10:45 AM. You want to arrive early to get a parking place and avoid the crowds of parents dropping off their students in the morning between 8:00 AM and 8:45 AM. Parking is limited. But there is sometimes street parking. So please come early. There will be plenty of time for set up. There is a gate that can be used to load and unload items to the grass field we will be located on. This is a middle school demo. We are the ambiance and the entertainment. We need combatants, artisans, archers, and people who can talk with the students from the 5th, 6th, and 7th grades. Many of you may be interviewed as your persona. This is a mini ren faire where students will be showing off their research project boards. There will be only one set time for combat per period. A total of three periods. Lunch is from 12:10-12:40 PM. Bring food and water, as if you were at a tourney. If you have any questions please IM me. I would love to have people doing art projects, combatants and archers allowing students to shoot combat arrows at a target or a person. Archery will be in an enclosed area with a metal backdrop. We need the combat arrows, children's bows, and archers to help show the students how to shoot archery. There will be pop-ups and tables for only the students' projects. Please bring your encampment set up from the tourneys.
